Scaffold Inspection Services
TAGSAFE Inspectors are experienced advanced Scaffolders, who also hold current CISRS advanced Scaffold Inspector qualifications, enabling them to carry out any type of Scaffold Inspection, including complex designed scaffolds. Legislation specifies that anyone carrying out an inspection must be competent to do so. To be competent that person must have the necessary training, knowledge and experience.
Inspectors
At TAGSAFE our Scaffold Inspectors are qualified and competent, with vast experience in conducting Scaffold Inspections and audits. Trained to inspect all types of complex design scaffolds to CISRS advanced inspection level.
Mandatory 7 day scaffold inspections are the first priority service that we provide as well as one off scaffold audits and scaffold safety advise. One off inspections are often required when clients feel that their current reporting system is not adequate and a professional, independent view is needed.
We use Scaff tags as a visual inspection record for site operatives to check that the scaffold is safe for use.
Reports
Tagsafe use an app based auditing system, bringing Scaffold reports to the Hirer/Client electronically (emailed reports) which maximises efficiency and safety performance for a more profitable business.
All defects and findings are detailed within the report and presented to the Client on the day the inspection is carried out along with photographic attachments, eliminating unnecessary paperwork and speeding up the reporting process in an easy to understand pass – green / fail – red format. A copy of the Scaffold Inspection report will be stored securely for 3 months after the scaffolding has been removed from site as stated in the Work at Height Regulations 2005.

The report will outline the following points:
- The name and address of the person for whom the inspection was carried out
- The site location of the scaffold inspected
- The date and time of the inspection
- A description of the scaffold type inspected
- Details of any hazard identified that could cause harm to the user
- Recommendations to bring the scaffold in line with current regulations
- Details of any further action required
- The name and position of the person making the report
