A small builder asked Tagsafe to produce a scaffold report on a temporary roof structure which they had inherited and is covering a listed building. After taking on a rebuild project which already had scaffold in place the building company sought our expertise to check the scaffold against the design and calculations and to ensure that the scaffold was correctly installed. One of our advanced scaffold inspectors spent a morning checking all of the scaffold design details had been followed along with any other hazards that might be present. Incorrect practices and missing components were found throughout and the customer was made aware with a Tagsafe comprehensive, photographic scaffold report and was then able to issue this to the scaffold contractor to take action, make good installation issues and handover a safe and functional scaffold to the customer. This could not have been achieved without the experienced eye of our advanced scaffold inspector. This builder can now work safely knowing that they did the right thing by appointing Tagsafe to give our independent and impartial view on the condition of the scaffold.
